Casa Sophia at Alma Del Rio – Eco Comfort on the Water

Positive: I had a great stay here and was really happy with the place. It’s beautiful, and the views from the second floor were especially nice. I also loved watching all the bird activity around the property. The hosts were easy to communicate with and kept everything smooth.

We had a fabulous stay at Casa Sophia at Alma del Rio. The house is even more beautiful than the photos show. The thoughtful design, attention to detail, and execution are all very impressive. I look forward to seeing the additional lodgings completed. We especially enjoyed the view over the forest and the rainwater shower. Birding from the upper floor was fantastic. We called it our treehouse. Hadas and staff made us feel welcome and responded quickly to questions.

Great stay, beautiful view, friendly hosts. All you need is Alma! Positive: Great view on the river from the living room upstairs. Ground floor has two comfortable bedrooms. Close to restaurants. Hosts are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Any tours or activities can be accommodated. Great stay! Negative: Nothing!

AMAZING stay overlooking the gorgeous forest! Positive: I loved the location, the house, the house design & the amazingly gorgeous living room that overlooked the jungle & the river! Each aspect of the house was very beautifully done :) Negative: nothing

Perfect stay. Positive: Super mooi huisje. We hebben de toekan gespot en kwamen allemaal mooie vogels voorbij. Echt heel cool. Ook de tuin en de rivier zijn erg mooi. Maar het beste van alles was wel de service van de eigenaren. Ze hielpen echt bij alles en waren enorm vriendelijk. Regelde taxi naar Sam ignacio (15 dollar - 8 minuten), regelde onze excursies naar de grotten en een nacht safari. En brachten extra biertjes. Echt ontzettend gastvrij en service gericht.
